Short Personal Description:

I have lived in Colorado since I was 8 years old.  I moved to Fort Collins when I started college at CSU and have loved living here ever since. I am very passionate about learning and teaching math as well as helping students gain confidence in a subject that can sometimes be very difficult.  I am very close with my family, and I love my role as an aunt to my niece and nephew!  I am so excited to be teaching at Rocky and am looking forward to this school year!

Educational and Professional Background:

I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education with a minor in Sociology from Colorado State University.  I also received my Master of Arts in Mathematics Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado.  I taught all levels of middle school math from 2014-2019 and have taught at Rocky since 2019!

Courses currently teaching at Rocky and previous courses taught at Rocky:

Courses I Teach:

Algebra 1

Geometry

Algebra 2

College Algebra

College Trigonometry

What does the Lobo Way mean to me?:

The Lobo Way is all about creating connections with your peers as well as the larger school community.  It is about being a part of something bigger than yourself and realizing the power you have to have a positive impact on the people around you.  By being compassionate and respectful of all of those around you, and celebrating the things we have in common as well as what makes everyone unique, we are really showing that each person in our school matters and that we all can come together as a Rocky family.

Interest & Hobbies:

I love visiting with my family and friends, as they live all over the country.  I enjoy reading and having chats with my book club.  I also love watching movies and playing board games!
