Mr. Jesse Venegas

I am a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served from 2015–2019. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2021 to pursue my passion for education. I graduated cum laude from Colorado State University in 2024 with a degree in English Education.

Outside the classroom, I coach boxing, which has taught me the values of discipline, perseverance, and mentorship that I bring into my teaching. I also coach Unified football and am apart of Student Council. I enjoy creative writing, fitness, and spending time with my two cats. My goal as an educator is to help students grow not only in their academic skills, but also in their confidence, creativity, and sense of community.
