In preparing for technical careers and classes in Technology Education, it is recommended that freshmen take Introduction to Engineering Technology as their first class in Technology Education at Rocky Mountain High School. Students completing two or more courses in an area receive a certificate as a completer in Engineering-related technologies.
Many of Rocky graduates go on to work in the career pathways listed below. The Technology Education Department offers a tremendous opportunity for all students to get a head start and explore career options. The following classes are recommended to help develop a background to pursue careers in the following pathways.
