Since graduating college in 2003 I have been involved in the public education system in some capacity during the school year. From school bus operator, paraprofessional and teacher, I have gained valuable experience in dealing with and educating students. When I am not involved with education I can be found guiding white water rafting trips down various rivers from the Cache La Poudre river in Fort Collins to the Pacuare river in Costa Rica. My goal in education is to work with emotionally disabled, At Risk, and transition students. I ultimately want to combine my experience with the outdoors and education to provide ED,At Risk, and transition students with positive outdoor educational experiences with the goal of building confidence and bridges to the future.
