About Me

Short Personal Description: 

I love history and consider it an honor to help young citizens understand our heritage.  In my classes, we use historical content as a platform for critical analysis and thinking skills development.  Since earning my teaching license in 2002, I have taught a variety of Social Studies classes including Advanced Placement U.S. History, History of Military Conflict, Economics, and World History.  I am proud to call Rocky Mountain High School my career home since 2009.

Educational and Professional Background: 

Bachelor of Science Degree in Government - Earned at Franklin and Marshall College, Spring 1995

Master's Degree in Educational Leadership - Earned at Colorado State University, Summer 2002

Teaching Experience at Woodland Park High School, Cache La Poudre Middle School, Webber Middle School, and Rocky Mountain High School

Interest & Hobbies: 

In addition to my love of history, I enjoy running with my dog Tusk, coaching Cross Country, riding my motorcycle, and traveling the world.
