While attending Colorado State University, Mr. Friskney studied Voice with Dr. Nicole Asel, Choral Conducting with Drs. James Kim and Nathan Payant, and sang in the Chamber and Concert Choir. Mr. Friskney served as the Undergraduate TA for the Music Theory and Aural Skills courses. Mr. Friskney also had the unique opportunity of directing Colorado State University's award winning, competitive contemporary a cappella group, Mainstreet A Cappella. When not teaching at Rocky, Mr. Friskney serves as the Tenor Section Leader at First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins as well as performing with Laudamus Chamber Chorale.
