The study of this modern language enhances the awareness of life and people of Europe, Africa, North America, the South Pacific, and the Caribbean.  Students learn to speak the language as well as gain an understanding of the contributions of francophone cultures to the world, both past, and present.  As the world becomes smaller through technology, this language continues to open doors to communication, business, and knowledge.
