Short Personal Description:
Hello Students, Parents, and Colleagues!
My name is Ms. M and I will be teaching your science course this year. I graduated from CSU with a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences and returned for my Masters degree in Education three years later. Between degrees, I put my biology skills to use working for Fort Collins Natural Areas and conducting my own research on insect diversity in Peru.
I am excited to get to know you and help you along your educational journey. I've been at Rocky since Fall 2020, and I LOVE being a Lobo!
My goals as a science teacher are to empower each student to explore the world around them, find community in the PLACE they call home, and take action to improve those communities through science.

What does the Lobo Way mean to me?:
To me the Lobo Way is about taking care of each other and the world around us. It's about doing hard things because we know they'll improve our communities. All living things have DNA in common - the Lobo Way is about knowing we're all related and using that understanding to bring compassion and integrity to the way we live.
