Short Personal Description:
I am an artist, illustrator, and teacher living in Fort Collins, CO. I learned my craft from an old Italian illustrator turned fine artist, this ex-Disney artist helped me learn to see. While working as an artist, I furthered my education at CSU. Upon graduation, I was hired at Rocky... I have been sharing the visual language at RMHS ever since. As a painter and digital artist, I am so grateful to be able to share knowledge, engage passion, and cultivate curiosity in my students. Being a teacher is the best job in the world! Each day I hope to challenge students to think critically, develop perseverance, be productive, be reflective, and grow in visual literacy. I think most of the time I am trying to help students learn to see...

What does the Lobo Way mean to me?:
The Lobo Way calls one to be a person of character... to understand that we are what we do when no one is looking. In the era of Facebook, social media, and government surveillance - this is more important than ever. We need to build a garden within ourselves. We need a place filled with the things the world cannot offer. It is from this place that we can find the strength to do what is right... to love what is good... and be honest with ourselves and those around us.
