About Me
Short Personal Description:

I grew up as a military brat and was able to experience very different parts of the United Stated and the world.  I have lived in Delaware, Maryland, Alabama, Pennsylvania and England.  I have visited almost all 50 states, and have been to Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Switzerland, Scotland, Wales, and the Nederlands.

I started my education career at Rocky Mountain High School in 1994. I was a teacher in the special education program before I became an Assistant Principal in the 2005-2006 school year. I love ROCKY and hope to be able to finish my career as a LOBO.

I have two children, a dog and am married to Dean. Our family loves to watch the Broncos on Sundays and we love football, baseball, basketball and soccer. We also love the outdoors and try to spend time fishing, hiking and hunting. Our dream vacation is to go to New Zealand to hike, kayak, and see the beautiful sites we are only able to experience online right now.

Educational and Professional Background:

Pennsylvania State University: Bachelor of Science: Special Education

University of Northern Colorado: Master of Science: Special Education

Colorado State University: Educational Leadership Licensure

What does the Lobo Way mean to me?:

The Lobo Way means that we are a family that is working hard to do the right thing, own up when we do not do the right thing, and accept personal responsibility for our actions. It means that we treat all people with respect and have compassion for each other. We are trying to help each other be successful.

Interest & Hobbies:

I like to take pictures, scrapbook, watch TV series on Netflix, work out, hike and help others.
