About Me

Short Personal Description:

I am a mid-western farm girl who moved to Fort Collins for grad school and never left!   I love to travel, spend time with my family, friends, and my "soul mutt", Bella.

I love working with the Rocky students and staff, they have become my family, and I am a proud Lobo.

Educational and Professional Background:

Undergrad: Dordt College, Sioux Center, IA

Grad School: CSU

Work experience: All of my experience is working with teens in various settings:  residential treatment, day treatment, alternative schools, and now at Rocky.  My dream is to open an animal sanctuary; rescue animals from abusive and neglectful environments and using these animals in therapeutic settings.

Courses currently teaching at Rocky and previous courses taught at Rocky:

School Social Worker--I teach students how to accept themselves, ask for help, overcome obstacles, set goals, learn how to cope, and stay positive.  (I try my hardest to do this)

What does the Lobo Way mean to me?:

Family, respect, compassion, and acceptance.

Interest & Hobbies:

friends, family, dog, laughters.

Honors & Awards:

Mary Hull nominee two years
